Staff at StarIC have developed a number of power converters over the years including switch-mode and linear style regulation. The IPs offer flexible architectures which can be readily modified and optimized to meet different output voltage and current requirements. Additional IPs are available through an NDA. STAR4000 - 1.8 to 5.6V charge pump
A frequency regulated voltage doubler followed by a frequency-regulated voltage tripler. A regulation loop is used to enable programmable output voltage levels.
STAR4001 - 1 to 1.8V output, 3 to 5.5V input Buck converter
An integrated hysteretic controller is used to regulate the output voltage while achieving >90% efficiency with a 500mA maximum output load current. (65nm)
STAR4002 - 8 to 15V output, 3 to 5.5V input Boost converter
A digital controller is used to achieve a highly configurable and stable output voltage and smart start-up with efficiencies up to 90%. (180nm)
STAR4003 - 1.8 to 3.6V output, 0.9V to 1.8V input voltage doubler
A capacitive charge pump topology is used to achieve >90% efficiency for a maximum of 20mA load current. (40nm)
